Metafrast

About

We exist for the decision that changes the trajectory.

METAFRAST is Greek for “to translate”, “to render anew”. Our role is to turn a complex situation, usually under pressure, into a plan the leadership team can execute with confidence. We do not simply deliver a report — we stay in the room until the plan becomes a result.

The firm has been operating since 2023. METAFRAST is the name under which it continues from 2026 — the same team and the same practice, under a clearer positioning.

Three principles

What we believe, before any recommendation.

I

Everything is systemic and interconnected — in society, in the company, and in each person's self.

A financial decision affects people, a leadership decision affects the numbers, and the inner state of the person deciding affects both. We do not treat symptoms in isolation.

II

In the life of every company and every person, a turning point arrives. Guaranteed.

It is not an exception to be managed but a certainty to be anticipated. The question is not “whether”, but how prepared we are when it comes.

III

All of us want to grow, in every domain of our lives.

Wisdom lies in seeking and accepting guidance — a perspective from outside the system, at the moment the system can no longer look at itself objectively.

Who we work with

Companies at a moment of ownership change, pressure or acceleration.

We work mainly with founder-owned and fund-owned companies in financial services and technology-adjacent industries, principally across Central and Eastern Europe.

The practice has existed since 2023 in an earlier form; the 2026 rebrand changes neither the team nor the track record, only the way we name them.

The team is led by an executive with over 25 years in CEO, COO and board roles across financial services and technology, with direct exposure to restructurings, ownership transitions and complex operational transformations.

The second principle, applied

The question is not “whether”, but how prepared we are when it comes.

The best conversations we have begin a year before the moment itself. The most expensive ones begin a month after it.
